Our
eco-friendly concept

Our ecological actions

For sustainable tourism

As we practice eco-responsible actions on a daily basis, we also focus on sustainable tourism for our campsite in order to respect the environment and the local culture.
You too can easily take part in this approach with simple gestures during your stay.

Selective sorting:

  • Our rubbish bin has containers for household waste, plastic and glass, as well as a composter. This makes a major contribution to reducing our waste.
  • In each accommodation we help you to sort your waste by providing a yellow bag for plastic, a bag for glass, and a "bio" bucket for the composter. We then use the compost for our plantations.
  • We also collect used batteries at the reception

Environmentally-friendly products and equipment

  • We use Ecolabel products and steam cleaner for the maintenance of the campsite.
  • An Ecolabel welcome kit is available in each accommodation. It is composed of a vegetable sponge, a roll of toilet paper, a dose of Ecolabel all-purpose cleaner and a biodegradable bin bag.
  • Use of a cargo bike to get around the campsite.
  • Installation of flow reducers for showers and taps
  • We collect rainwater for watering flowers and vegetable garden
  • Project 2025: installation of a 10,000 litre underground rainwater recovery tank
  • Installation of motion-sensor lights in the closed toilet blocks.
  • Low-energy lamps in the toilet blocks and accommodations
  • Killswitch in the new cottages
  • Installation of solar panels for lighting the campsite.
  • Heat pump to heat the swimming pool
  • Minimised lighting at night
  • You can find local products in our grocery shop (organic cider from "Vergers de Romilly", Isigny Caramels) and in our snack bar: chicken “à la Normande” and Normandy burgers...
  • We give you the best personal advise and tourist information to discover our beautiful Normandy region.
  • Working with local artisans, entrepreneurs and producers.
  • We participate in the village life at the yearly race "Un Petit Tour'Nières" that starts and finishes at the campsite
  • Take the time to live and rest in a calm environment, watch the fish and listen to the birds.
  • Take time to meet and get to know each other
  • Cycling to enjoy the great outdoors
  • Shared garden where you can harvest fruit (apples, pears, etc.) and aromatic plants, stroll around or share a convivial moment.
