Committed in its own small way
We also bring our personal approach to ecology to the campsite, through simple actions and common-sense management of resources. We take care to preserve the green spaces, limit waste, encourage recycling and respect all living things.
Our eco-friendly approach goes hand in hand with our vision of camping: holidays that are simpler, calmer, more human and more respectful of the Normandy region.
Our green habits
Recycling
In our bin store, containers are available for sorting household waste, glass and packaging (paper, plastic, cardboard…). A composter also lets us put organic waste to good use. In our rental accommodation, we provide bags and tote bags to make sorting your rubbish easier during your stay.
Water management
Flow restrictors are fitted to the showers and taps to reduce water consumption. We also collect rainwater in a 10,000-litre underground tank, which is used to water the flowers and the vegetable garden.
Energy management
The toilet and shower blocks are fitted with motion sensors, and we use low-energy light bulbs. All the campsite lighting comes from solar-powered bollards and is reduced at night to save energy and protect nocturnal wildlife. The swimming pool is heated by a heat pump.
Environmentally friendly products and equipment
We use Ecolabel products and a steam cleaner, which cleans effectively while cutting down on cleaning products. In our rental accommodation, guests are given a welcome kit of Ecolabel products. We get around the campsite on foot or by cargo bike.
Local sourcing
At reception and in the snack bar, we offer a selection of Normandy produce and local specialities to introduce you to the flavours of our region and support producers from the area. Wherever possible, we also turn to local craftspeople, contractors and producers for our business needs.
Naturally managed green spaces
We look after the green spaces while respecting the rhythm of nature. The shared garden lets everyone enjoy aromatic herbs and seasonal fruit, in a spirit of sharing.

Every action counts. During your stay, you too can help to preserve this natural setting: sort your rubbish, save water and electricity, respect the green spaces and enjoy the shared garden with care.

The shared garden
Aromatic herbs, seasonal vegetables, flowers… The shared garden is open to everyone! Come and pick a few herbs to liven up your meals, enjoy the flowers or simply take a break surrounded by nature.
And if you come across our wild rabbits, which roam freely around the campsite, take the time to watch them… but let them come to you in their own time!
