Nature campsite with heated swimming pool in Normandy
Close to Bayeux, Saint-Lô and the D-Day landing beaches, our small nature campsite lies in the heart of the Normandy countryside, between land and sea, in Calvados and on the edge of the Manche département. Delphine and Laurent will give you a simple, warm welcome.
A simple, warm welcome
At Camping Le Picard, we have chosen to keep a friendly, peaceful atmosphere, far from the big holiday resorts. There are just the two of us welcoming you and running the campsite day to day, and we love taking the time to chat, give you advice and share our favourite places.
Here, everyone enjoys their holiday at their own pace: discovering Normandy, spending time together as a family, taking time to rest or simply savouring the peace and quiet and the nature.

Admiring a stunning sunset
As the day draws to a close, watch in wonder as the sun sinks behind the fields.
Advice, friendly encounters and home cooking
At reception, we take the time to help you and share our favourite places: markets, local producers, visits and little spots we’re particularly fond of. Reception is open every day from 9 am to noon and from 2 pm to 7 pm.
We welcome you in French, English and Spanish. Nine out of ten campers come from abroad, so it helps if we understand each other.
In the evening, join us at the snack bar for a friendly, warm atmosphere. To eat in or take away, Laurent cooks simple, hearty food, including his famous homemade bœuf bourguignon, his Normandy cheese platter and his D-Day sundae. On Fridays in summer, fish & chips and moules-frites theme nights (booking required) also add a little rhythm to your holiday.
